Senior OTA Software Test Engineer

Location: Mexico (Remote)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior OTA Software Test Engineer to support end-to-end verification and validation of automotive Software Updates/OTA systems. The role will focus on test strategy, automation, framework development, defect analysis, and collaboration with general engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and execute automated and manual test strategies using vTestStudio and custom frameworks.
- Develop reusable test automation using Python, Bash, and CAPL.
- Perform embedded and system-level verification and validation testing.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and document software defects.
- Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
- Optimize test execution pipelines and improve automation efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and project teams to ensure test coverage.
- Track test progress, defects, risks,



and software updates.
- Prepare test procedures, reports, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical guidance on vTestStudio, scripting, and automation best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement and automotive testing initiatives.
