We are seeking a Senior or Principal Engineer to lead critical Run-the-Business activities while driving modernization initiatives across a portfolio of enterprise mobile applications and supporting backend services. This role will be responsible for leading a strategic initiative to remove the Scandit SDK from multiple iOS applications and replace it with native iOS camera scanning capabilities. In addition, the engineer will support application enhancements, modernization efforts, ongoing maintenance, and production operations for both mobile applications and their Java/WebSphere backend services. Key Responsibilities
Backend development in Java, including enterprise services on application servers such as WebSphere

• Support and maintain Java-based backend systems running on IBM WebSphere Application Server.
• Troubleshoot and enhance REST and SOAP services.
• Analyze and resolve application integration issues.

• Monitor application performance using DynaTrace or similar APM tools.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with mobile and backend applications.
• 3+ years of iOS development experience using Xcode and the iOS SDK.
