About the Role
We are looking for a Product Designer to join our Engineering team. You will define the 3D modeling of Autoneum's products to meet the needs of our OEM customers within the capabilities of our Manufacturing team. You will be one of our primary interfaces with customers, working closely with tooling, manufacturing, process engineering and Tier 2 suppliers, performing design and manufacturability analysis and delivering solutions from basic information, on time and with quality. Responsibilities
• Develop detailed 3D design models using CAD software
• Propose dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;) and perform RSS stack-ups and tolerance studies
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate designs and enhance product specifications
• Modify designs based on trial runs and feedback
• Work with customers to understand design requirements and constraints
• Prepare and present design proposals to customers and management
• Solve problems during the design, testing and manufacturing stages
• Document design processes,



revisions and customer feedback, following industry standards and compliance requirements Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering Required Skills
• Hands-on product design experience is MANDATORY: you must have personally developed 3D design models and drawings (not only release, validation or tooling)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in product engineering
• Experience at an automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier
• Proficiency in Siemens NX and CATIA V5; working knowledge of Teamcenter or other CAD management systems
• Advanced English to present to management and customers and to handle customer inquiries
• Availability to travel (~20%: 10% domestic, 10% international) Preferred Skills
• At least 1 year of vehicle interior experience, ideally Soft Trim (trunk trim, cargo, rear window trim)
• Metal formability knowledge and simulation skills
