Staff Electrical Engineer – Form Energy (PCBA Design) OverviewForm Energy is looking for a Staff Electrical Engineer to lead the full lifecycle design of PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies) that support their battery management and energy storage systems.
This is a hands-on hardware design role focused on taking products from concept through design, validation, manufacturing, and long-term support.

Key Responsibilities
~ Own end-to-end PCBA development, including:~ Requirements definition~ Component selection~ Schematic capture~ PCB layout oversight~ Design release and manufacturing support~ Board bring-up and verification~ Sustaining engineering~ Design PCBAs for high-power, high-voltage, and safety-critical applications .
~ Develop:~ DFMEA/CFMEA~ Electrical block diagrams~ Simulations and analyses~ Test plans~8D root cause investigations~ Work closely with:~ Systems Engineers~ Mechanical Engineers~ Firmware/Software Engineers~ Test & Validation Teams~ Troubleshoot and improve released hardware designs.
~ Create technical documentation including architecture, test results, root-cause analyses, and design decisions.
