We are seeking a Senior Citrix Engineer with strong hands-on experience designing, building, modernizing, and optimizing large-scale enterprise Citrix environments. This is an engineering-focused role, not a day-to-day operational support position.

The adecuado candidate will have deep expertise across Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix DaaS, PVS, MCS, StoreFront, UPM/FSLogix, Active Directory, Group Policy, VMware, and Entra ID SSO, with the ability to lead technical delivery from architecture and design through implementation, migration, testing, and stabilization.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, upgrade, and optimize large-scale Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) environments.
- Support Citrix DaaS / Citrix Cloud and hybrid deployment architectures, including identity integration.
- Lead migrations of users and workloads between CVAD Sites, including pilot planning, migration waves, testing, and rollback strategies.
- Design, manage, and troubleshoot Citrix PVS and MCS environments for RDSH and persistent VDI workloads.
- Perform advanced Windows image engineering for Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, including gold-image lifecycle, promotion, OS upgrades, VMware Tools upgrades, and reverse imaging.
- Configure and optimize StoreFront, including stores, authentication, beacons, and Citrix Workspace app integration.
- Manage and troubleshoot user profiles using Citrix Profile Management (UPM) and FSLogix containers, including permissions and logon-performance issues.
- Design and troubleshoot Group Policy, including loopback processing, filtering, performance optimization, and security-hardening baselines.
- Support Active Directory/IAM architecture, including OU design, delegation, least-privilege access, multi-domain/multi-forest environments, trusts,



DNS, and Kerberos.
- Support Citrix integration with VMware vSphere/vCenter, including templates, cloning, provisioning, and performance troubleshooting.
- Support Entra ID (Azure AD) SSO and enterprise identity integration with Citrix/EUC environments.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across Citrix, Windows, Active Directory, DNS, networking, and VMware.
- Assess existing infrastructure and recommend improvements related to performance, capacity, resiliency, standardization, security, and technical debt.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture standards, runbooks, and handover materials.
- Collaborate with Network, Security, AD/IAM, VMware, and application teams throughout implementation and migration activities.

Required Experience
- 6+ years of enterprise Citrix engineering experience supporting large-scale environments.
- 5+ years of hands-on Citrix infrastructure experience.
- 2+ years in a technical leadership capacity.
- Proven experience designing, building, migrating, upgrading, and troubleshooting enterprise

Citrix environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with PVS and MCS imaging, including reverse imaging for VMware

Tools and OS upgrades.
- Strong system-level troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.
