Junior Financial Bookkeeper

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Financial Bookkeeper to support accounting operations for multiple clients across a variety of industries. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring financial data is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.

The idóneo candidate has experience with financial accounting practices and enjoys working with multiple clients in a structured, deadline-driven environment.

? Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts for multiple clients
- Record and categorize financial transactions in accounting software
- Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions
- Prepare and post journal entries as needed
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts
- Review financial records for accuracy and resolve discrepancies

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close

- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures
- Prepare financial reports and accounting schedules
- Support financial accounting processes for nonprofit and for-profit clients, including industries such as retail, construction,



and professional services
- Maintain organized and audit-ready documentation
- Support accurate financial reporting across multiple client accounts

Client & Team Collaboration

- Communicate professionally with clients regarding bookkeeping matters
- Collaborate with payroll and tax teams to support accurate reporting
- Assist with special accounting projects and ad hoc assignments
- Manage multiple client accounts while consistently meeting deadlines

✅ Requirements

Experience

- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Experience performing account reconciliations and month-end close activities
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles

Technical Skills

- QuickBooks experience strongly preferred
- Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience working with accounting software platforms

Education

- High School Diploma required
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

? Compensation (Direct Contractor): 20,000 MXN – 24,000 MXN Net Monthly ? Contractor Benefits
