Education

Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress).

Experience

- Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry in a similar role.
- SAP system experience (BOM management).
- Ability to interpret 2D and 3D technical drawings.
- Direct customer interaction experience.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Required Technical Skills & Knowledge

Language: English - Advanced Level

- SAP Key User (BOM management, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP engineering modules).
- SAP Master Data (part master planning, material structure creation and modification).
- SAP Production Routing configuration.
- Engineering Change software/applications (FORVIA: KDM, Tiger); Palantir preferred.
- Customer portals (Ford, GM, Honda, John Deere, Volkswagen, Nissan, BMW).
- Engineering Change Management processes.
- Core Tools knowledge (FMEA, PPAP, Control Plan, SPC) preferred.

Your Mission, Roles And Responsibilities

General Purpose of the Position

- Ensure the timely and effective implementation of Engineering Changes (ECRs) assigned to the program.
- Evaluate and implement Change Requests jointly with the Serial Program Manager.




- Manage and monitor BOM (Bill of Materials) audit results for each program.
- Provide support to Launch and Program teams during the transition of BOMs from Program to Serial Production.

Main Responsibilities

- Attend daily start-up meetings (Top 5 Meeting).
- Comply with company policies, safety regulations, and internal procedures.
- Configure and maintain BOMs in SAP for serial production and new projects.
- Keep engineering change information updated in the system.
- Support Program-to-Serial production handover activities.
- Ensure updates to production documents impacted by engineering changes (FMEA, PPAP, Control Plans).
- Analyze engineering change feasibility and define implementation timing.
- Ensure compliance with engineering change processes.
- Configure new part numbers in the Production System (MII).
- Coordinate Production Trial Runs (PTR) and shipment of trial parts.
- Collaborate with New Programs/Projects teams and participate in project meetings.
- Lead engineering change meetings and follow up on action plans.
- Coordinate clean point implementations with customers.
- Participate in product engineering and cost-reduction meetings.
- Support productivity initiatives related to OEE improvement and scrap reduction.




- Maintain 5S standards and comply with the FORVIA Excellence System.
