Technical Artist

We are looking for a skilled and versatile Technical Artist to join our development team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between artists and engineers, ensuring high visual quality, smooth animations, and optimal performance across mobile devices.

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (developers, animators, designers and artists) to resolve technical and visual challenges

Work with complex scene compositions, update, maintain and organize game assets.

Develop custom tools, scripts, and automated pipelines to optimize workflow for artists and engineers.

Ensure peak game performance and memory management for both low-end and high-end mobile devices.

Implement and refine visual effects (VFX), particle systems, shaders, and animations.

Troubleshoot technical issues related to rendering, asset compression, atlas management, and Unity tools.

Requirements





3+ years of professional experience as a Technical Artist or similar role in game development.

Solid hands-on experience with Unity 3D and C# scripting

Strong knowledge of asset optimization for mobile (sprite packing, texture atlases, draw calls, draw distance, memory usage).

Experience with 2D asset integration, prefab management, layer organization, and UI implementation.

Understanding of shaders, lighting, 3D math, and rendering pipelines.

Familiarity with industry-standard art software (e.g., Maya, 3ds Max, Photoshop, Substance).

English proficiency: B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or higher.

Advanced shader creation using Shader Graph or HLSL.

Background in visual effects (VFX), particle systems, and rewarded/celebratory screen polish (win screens, particle bursts, etc.).
