Job Description:

Responsible for integral trade compliance activities. Aligns global technical expertise to identify risks, reduce costs, remove trade barriers, prevent, and mitigate risks related to customs laws. Acts as a global trade subject matter expert. Provides advice to assist clients (e.g., import and export compliance analysis, classification, valuation, preferential trade programs, duty mitigation programs, government agency requirements, and import and export licensing). Monitors global and regional laws and legislation,



and regulations to develop and implement compliance programs. Acts as a liaison between clients and local government agencies. Ensures that all transactions comply with laws and regulations by reviewing trade documentation and providing data analysis. Provides administrative or technical support to ensure effective on-going operations. Applies knowledge of established processes and procedures to execute with excellence. Requires advanced skills and expertise in a variety of work processes or activities. Anticipates patterns and links, considering wider implications to an immediate problem. Generates new and innovative solutions to complex problems. Works independently within established procedures and practices. May act as a team lead, coordinating the work of others, but not a supervisor.
