Key Tasks And Responsibilities

Obstetric Care

- Provide comprehensive prenatal care including initial assessments, ongoing monitoring, and patient education throughout pregnancy.
- Provide postnatal care and support for patients and newborns following delivery.

Gynecologic Care





- Conduct comprehensive gynecologic evaluations including well-woman exams, Pap smears, STI screening, and contraceptive counseling.
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of gynecologic conditions including endometriosis, PCOS, fibroids, menstrual disorders, and pelvic floor dysfunction.
- Perform gynecologic procedures and minor surgeries within scope and as clinically appropriate.
- Provide menopause management and long-term women's health care across the lifespan.

Integrated Care and Collaboration

- Work collaboratively with primary care providers, behavioral health clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, whole-person care.
- Integrate behavioral health considerations into women's health care, including perinatal mental health screening and referral.
- Provide consultation and clinical guidance to primary care providers on OB/GYN matters as needed.
- Participate in community outreach and women's health education initiatives across the communities we serve.
- Participate in staff meetings, quality improvement activities, and organizational committees as requested.

Documentation and Compliance

- Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation in the electronic health record in compliance with all applicable legal and confidentiality standards including HIPAA.
- Meet all internal and external reporting requirements including data collection for quality improvement.
- Perform other duties as requested by department leadership.
