Business Analyst (Logistics / Transportation Management Systems) Position Title Business Analyst – Logistics & Transportation Management Systems (TMS) Location Guadalajara Hybrid Position Summary We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong experience in the Logistics and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) domain to bridge business requirements and technology solutions. The idóneo candidate will work closely with logistics, transportation, operations, supply chain, and IT teams to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and support the implementation and enhancement of transportation and logistics solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of transportation operations, shipment planning, carrier management, freight execution, route optimization, and Transportation Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to logistics and transportation operations.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and system requirements.
• Work with TMS platforms and related supply chain applications to identify process improvements and system enhancements.
• Analyze transportation workflows, including shipment planning, load optimization, carrier selection, freight auditing, and route management.
• Conduct gap analysis between current and future-state processes.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Support system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and data migration activities.
• Partner with technical teams to ensure requirements are properly understood and delivered.
• Develop and execute test scenarios, test cases,



and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Monitor business processes and recommend continuous improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
• Create business process documentation, training materials, and user guides.
• Serve as a liaison between business users, operations teams, and technology teams. Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments.
• Strong domain expertise in Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Knowledge of transportation operations, freight management, carrier operations, and shipment execution processes.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional business and technical teams.
• Experience with process mapping and business process improvement initiatives. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with TMS solutions such as:
• Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)
• SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM)
• Blue Yonder Transportation Management
• MercuryGate
• Manhattan TMS
• Descartes
• Understanding of supply chain, warehouse, and ERP integrations.
• Experience with EDI, APIs, and transportation-related system integrations.
• Knowledge of freight settlement, carrier compliance, and transportation analytics.
• Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, CSCP, or APICS are a plus.
