About the role
This position is based in Mexico City and reports directly to the Integral Finance Controller. You will work across multiple entities (funds, properties and holding companies) in the US, Mexico and Latin America, under different accounting and tax frameworks. What you’ll do ● Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for HASTA entities. ● Review financial reporting packages from properties and funds: trial balances, balance continuity, account nature and bank reconciliations. ● Analyze variances and identify inconsistencies, proposing adjustments or reclassifications under US GAAP and IFRS. ● Support annual audits: prepare schedules, process confirmations, respond to auditor requests and help draft and update financial statement footnotes. ● Prepare and file monthly and annual tax returns in Mexico through the SAT portal,



including compliance for trusts (fideicomisos). ● Provide accurate information to our US tax advisors for annual tax returns and K-1s. ● Support accounts payable and receivable processes for proper liquidity management. ● Provide accounting support during the annual budgeting process. ● Identify opportunities to automate and improve processes using Excel, ERP and AI tools. What we’re looking for ● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. ● 2–4 years of experience in accounting, ideally in audit firms, real estate or investment funds. ● Strong accounting judgment. ● Professional working English (written and spoken). You’ll interact with auditors and advisors in the US. ● Hands-on experience filing tax returns through the SAT portal. ● Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software or ERP systems. ● Self-directed learner: you keep up with accounting and tax regulations and new tools, including AI. ● Clear communication and the ability to raise issues early, with a proposed solution. Nice to have ● Working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS. ● Experience with trust (fideicomiso) tax compliance. ● Exposure to real estate funds, partnerships or multi-entity consolidations. ● Experience using AI tools (in your daily work).
