? POSITION: Data Entry Specialist

We are currently looking for a Data Entry Specialist to assist with the onboarding and maintenance of merchant applications. This role offers a strong opportunity for growth and hands-on experience in the payments industry, with direct mentorship from experienced professionals.

As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely entry of merchant data, quality control reviews, and the ongoing integrity of account information. You will also contribute to regulatory reporting and internal operational projects.

? KEY RESPONSABILITIES

- Enter merchant applications into the internal merchant boarding database and ensure updates are properly maintained across systems.
- Conduct quality control reviews of applications submitted by partners, ISOs, and sales representatives.




- Perform regular and retroactive MATCH inquiries in compliance with internal risk policies.
- Prepare and maintain daily and weekly MIS (Management Information System) reports.
- Respond to monthly data integrity reports from Visa, MasterCard, and Discover in a timely manner.
- Collect and validate information for new merchant accounts in line with internal policies and card brand regulations.
- Assist with operational and compliance-related projects as assigned by the manager.

? REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND KNOWLEDGE

- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Access or Visio is a plus.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in the merchant acquiring industry or financial services is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with MATCH, KYC, or risk management processes is a plus.
- English fluency required; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
