We are seeking editors with over 20 years of experience to support a project involving a memoir about migration and exile.
The individual will have the following responsibilities
Copyediting and content editing, as well as translation EnglishSpanish, ensuring academic rigor and the correct use of scholarly apparatus citations, references, etc..
Writing drafting content.
Organizing, archiving, and tracking project progress.
Proficiency in editing software, such as InDesign and Photoshop, is highly desirable. Essential Requirements
Proven experience in bilingual English Spanish academic or literary editing.
Experience in copyediting academic and literary texts.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks autonomously.
Expertlevel proficiency in editing software.
Availability to work during morning hours.
The position is based in the city of Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico.
