Senior IT Project Manager / Delivery Lead
Salary: MXN $65,000 net per month
Location: Polanco, Mexico City
Work Model: Hybrid, with on-site attendance required on designated days
Contract Duration: Initial 9-month assignment, with possibility of extension
Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager / Delivery Lead to drive integrated delivery coordination across complex enterprise technology initiatives involving ERP platforms, SAP workstreams, enterprise integrations, middleware, Quality Assurance, Business Analysts, external vendors, and business stakeholders.

This position requires more than administrative project coordination or Agile ceremony facilitation. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong delivery ownership, executive-level communication, structured risk governance, and the ability to manage interdependent workstreams across functional, technical, and geographically distributed teams.

A critical requirement is the ability to lead technical and executive discussions entirely in English, communicate delivery risks with precision, negotiate priorities, challenge unrealistic commitments, and obtain timely decisions from global stakeholders without relying on translation or third-party communication support.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and govern an integrated master project plan covering milestones, critical paths, dependencies, accountable owners, and target dates.

Establish project governance mechanisms, reporting cadences, escalation paths, and executive decision-making processes.

Maintain RAID logs covering risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, including impact assessments, mitigation plans, ownership, and escalation status.

Coordinate delivery across SAP, enterprise integrations, middleware, QA, business analysis, internal teams, and external vendors.

Manage vendor commitments, delivery deviations, corrective actions, resource conflicts, and cross-team dependencies.

Integrate Agile execution practices with broader program milestones, release schedules, and predictive delivery controls.

Monitor sprint progress, throughput, delivery predictability, blockers, and overall release readiness.

Coordinate test planning and execution tracking across TUT, FUT, and UAT cycles, ensuring that entry and exit criteria, defect status, evidence, and approvals are documented.

Develop and maintain integrated Cutover plans, Go-Live checklists, contingency procedures,

and explicit Go/No-Go decision criteria.

Coordinate Hypercare activities, incident escalation, stabilization tracking, and transition to operational support.

Produce executive status reports, delivery dashboards, action logs, decision logs, and management presentations.

Communicate critical deviations in English, clearly articulating business impact, recovery scenarios, trade-offs, recommended actions, and decisions required from leadership.

Facilitate technical and executive meetings with global stakeholders across different time zones.

Mandatory Requirements

At least 8 years of demonstrable experience as an IT Project Manager, Delivery Lead, or Program Manager.

At least 5 years coordinating complex enterprise projects involving multiple teams, workstreams, and external vendors.

Demonstrable experience in ERP implementations, enterprise transformation initiatives, or projects of comparable scope and complexity.

Proven ownership of integrated project schedules, RAID logs, cross-functional dependencies, releases, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare activities.

Practical experience combining Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches, including Scrum and Kanban.

Hands-on experience with project management and delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, Planner, or equivalent platforms.

Strong executive communication, stakeholder negotiation, conflict resolution, and influence without direct authority.

Ability to coordinate distributed teams and manage competing priorities in a complex enterprise environment.

Full-time availability and flexibility to attend previously scheduled integral meetings.

Mandatory English Proficiency
Advanced professional English is a non-negotiable requirement.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to:

Lead technical and executive meetings entirely in English, maintaining clear, structured, and precise communication throughout complex discussions.

Explain critical dependencies, delivery risks, schedule deviations, and integration issues using accurate project management and enterprise technology terminology.

Negotiate priorities,

challenge delivery commitments, resolve conflicting expectations, and escalate issues with international stakeholders.

Present mitigation strategies, recovery plans, trade-offs, and executive recommendations without relying on prepared scripts or translation assistance.

Draft professional risk assessments, action plans, meeting minutes, executive status reports, and decision documents in English.

Respond spontaneously and coherently to challenging follow-up questions during technical and executive discussions.

English proficiency will be evaluated through a dedicated interview conducted entirely in English. Candidates who cannot independently lead professional discussions at the required level will not advance.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP S/4HANA or enterprise-scale SAP implementations.

Background in automotive, manufacturing, commercial vehicles, or similarly complex operational environments.

Experience coordinating enterprise integrations, middleware, APIs, and cross-system data exchanges.

Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems and dealership business processes.

Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and enterprise integration platforms.

Relevant certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or ITIL.

Compensation and Engagement Conditions

Monthly compensation of MXN $65,000 net.

Initial assignment of 9 months, with the possibility of extension subject to project requirements and formal agreement.

Hybrid work arrangement, with designated on-site attendance in the Polanco area of Mexico City.

Full-time dedication of 40 hours per week.

Schedule aligned with project requirements, including previously coordinated meetings with global teams.

Application Requirements
Please submit an updated CV in English highlighting:

At least two comparable enterprise projects, including project scope, duration, team structure, vendors, responsibilities, and measurable outcomes.

Specific experience with ERP implementations, SAP, integrations, risk governance, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare.

Examples of executive-level stakeholder management and delivery escalations.

Project management methodologies, tools, and relevant certifications.

Current availability and confirmation of your ability to work under the hybrid arrangement in Polanco, Mexico City.

Only candidates who meet the mandatory experience requirements and demonstrate advanced professional English will be considered.
