SAP Royalty Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an SAP Royalty Accounting Specialist to join our client´s project where they will lead the functional design of royalty accounting processes in SAP S/4HANA. You will work with Finance stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define royalty calculations, accruals, settlements, and general ledger postings, while aligning existing Oracle processes with SAP standard functionality.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the design and configuration of SAP Settlement Management, including contracts, conditions, settlement documents, and accruals.
- Prepare and facilitate workshops, including agendas, current-state and future-state analysis, open questions, and decision logs.
- Gather and document Finance requirements for royalty calculations, accruals, settlements, and GL postings.
- Define integration points between Settlement Management, FI/CO, and SD/MM where relevant.
- Analyze existing Oracle royalty processes, map them to SAP standard functionality, and identify gaps, workarounds,



and RICEFW requirements.
- Create process flows, functional specifications, meeting minutes, and action trackers.
- Coordinate design decisions with the R2R, O2C, and Data/Integration workstreams.
- Support test scenario design, UAT, and cutover planning in later project phases.

Required qualifications

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Settlement Management configuration.
- Strong understanding of Finance processes related to royalty accounting, including calculations, accruals, and settlements.
- Experience analyzing Oracle processes and mapping them to SAP functionality.
- Ability to facilitate workshops and document functional requirements and design decisions.
- Advanced English communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

- Experience with RICEFW requirements in SAP environments.
- Knowledge of integrations across SAP modules, particularly FI/CO and SD/MM.
- Experience supporting functional testing, UAT, or cutover activities.
