Senior Software Manager - Contribuidor Indivdual (Hybrid CDMX- 3 Days Onsite, 2 Days On Remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Manager (Individual Contributor) to join a general financial services company. This role is ideal for someone passionate about deep technical work, who thrives on solving complex problems and driving high-quality software solutions.

Note: This is not a traditional people management role. We are looking for a leader in expertise, not in hierarchy - someone who prefers to stay hands-on and deeply involved in technical decision-making.

Responsibilities

-Be part of a group of expert developers to build complex software (microservices and full-stack systems) that ensures the company meets legal and regulatory rules.

-Stay Involved in Tech: Keep up with new trends, experiment with new tools, and participate in tech communities.

-Collaborate for Impact:



Work closely with product managers to build reliable cloud-based tools that help millions of people manage their money better.

-Use Modern Tech Stacks: Work with a wide range of tools, including:

-Languages: Python OR Node.

-Data: SQL and NoSQL databases.

-Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Requirements

Advanced English proficiency (B2–C1 level)

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required (Master's degree is a plus, must have)

-6–8 years of hands-on experience in software engineering (internships do not count), with strong coding skills in Python or Node.

-Solid experience building and working with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs

-Passion for staying hands-on in coding and technical problem-solving

-3 years of experience designing and architecting solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)espensa
