About the job

Responsible for leading Cash Application operations, ensuring the accurate and timely application of customer payments while driving operational excellence, continuous improvement, and team development. This role partners closely with Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, Credit, Treasury, and external service providers to optimize end-to-end processes, enhance customer experience, and support business objectives.

The Cash Application Manager is accountable for service delivery, process standardization, compliance, KPI management, and the successful execution of transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, and scalability across the operation.

What we're looking for

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, or Shared Services operations.
- 2+ years of people management experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience driving process improvement, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Preferred:
- MBA and/or CPA certification.
- Experience within Shared Services or Global Business Services organizations.
- Knowledge of SAP, ERP systems, and cash application technologies.
- Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement certifications.

Operational Leadership

- Lead and oversee Cash Application operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer payments.
- Monitor performance metrics and service level agreements to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements.

People Management

- Lead,



coach, and develop a high-performing team through effective performance management and career development initiatives.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and customer-focused culture.
- Support succession planning and talent development efforts.

Process Improvement & Transformation

- Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and process optimization.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate inefficiencies and reduce manual activities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable solutions and drive organizational change.

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate closely with Accounts Receivable, Credit, Customer Service, Treasury, IT, and business leadership teams.
- Manage relationships with third-party service providers to ensure performance expectations are met.
- Provide operational insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Financial & Performance Management

- Monitor operational performance through KPIs, scorecards, and reporting dashboards.
- Analyze trends and identify opportunities to improve cash application effectiveness and working capital results.
- Support budget planning and resource allocation activities to ensure operational efficiency.
