Position Summary

An Inventory Control Specialist manages the accurate receipt, storage, tracking, and movement of materials and finished goods within a manufacturing plant. They maintain inventory accuracy, conduct cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, support production with timely material availability, and ensure compliance with inventory procedures to optimize operations and minimize stock shortages or excess inventory.

Education: Engineering degree (Must have title in any engineering).

Experience: 2-3 years of experience in supply chain areas of Manufacturing Plants: Procurement, Warehouse, and Inventories, Logistic, Production planning.

Languages: Advanced English (80%-90%)

Job description

• Inventory Control

• Accuracy, integrity, and movement of all inventory across the company's facilities.

• Establish and maintain optimal inventory levels to balance service levels with working capital objectives.





• Oversee cycle counting programs and annual physical inventory; drive accuracy to 98%+ targets.

• Receiving and inspecting inbound materials.

• Analyze inventory data and trends to reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving material.

• Work closely with Finance on inventory valuation, reporting, and write-off processes.

• Champion lean inventory practices and demand-driven replenishment strategies.

Some Experience as Buyer is a Plus

• Purchasing

• Manage all direct and indirect purchasing activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost competitiveness, and delivery reliability.

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to reduce total cost of ownership and mitigate supply risk.

• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and support financial targets.

• Approve purchase orders and manage vendor scorecards and performance reviews.
