Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Strategy & Leadership

- Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain and risk assessment strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration among Operations, Sales, Finance and Customer Service
- Drive improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction(COGS), service improvement, inventory optimization, supplier relationships and supply chain diversification

Procurement & Strategic Sourcing

- Manage strategic sourcing for PET rigid containers, corrugated products, flexible films, and packaging materials
- Negotiate supplier agreements that improve pricing, quality, availability, and service.
- Establish supplier performance scorecards and business review processes.
- Identify and mitigate supply risks through supplier diversification and contingency planning.

Planning & Inventory Management

- Lead demand planning, forecasting, production scheduling, and inventory management processes.
- Champion a robust Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) process.
- Improve forecast accuracy and inventory turns while maintaining customer service targets.
- Develop inventory strategies that support seasonal agricultural demand patterns.

Logistics & Distribution

- Oversee transportation, warehousing, and customer fulfillment operations.
- Optimize network design and freight strategies to reduce logistics costs.
- Establish key partnerships with carriers, 3PLs, and distribution providers.
- Ensure customer deliveries meet service-level commitments.

Manufacturing Integration

- Partner with plant leadership to balance capacity, customer demand, inventory levels, and operational efficiency.
- Support production planning for thermoforming, printing, and assembly operations.





Metrics & Analytics

- Develop KPI dashboards and reporting processes.
- OTIF (On Time In Full)
- Inventory Turns
- Forecast Accuracy
- Freight Cost per Unit
- Purchase Price Variance
- Working Capital
- Supply Chain Cost as % of Sales
- Warehouse Productivity
- Customer Fill Rate

Risk Management & Sustainability

- Develop business continuity and supply risk mitigation plans.
- Support sustainability initiatives, recycled content sourcing, and waste reduction programs.

Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience preferred

Experience

- 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience.
- 5+ years leading supply chain teams within manufacturing environments preferred
- Experience in plastics, extrusion, thermoforming, converting, or related industries strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success implementing S&OP; processes and supply chain optimization initiatives.
- Experience managing multi-site operations preferred.

Technical Skills

- ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). JDE experience preferred
- Familiar with Advanced Excel, Power BI and MRP systems
- Warehouse and Transportation Management Systems (WMS/TMS).
- Strong analytical and financial acumen.
