Automotive Test Analyst / Python Developer – Manufacturing

Location: All Mexico — Remote

About the Role

We are seeking an Automotive Test Analyst or a Python Developer with manufacturing experience to support a Ford automotive software integration and validation project in Mexico City.

This opportunity is open to professionals with automotive testing experience and Python developers whose manufacturing background provides relevant experience in automation, troubleshooting, and industrial systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Python scripts for test automation, data processing, and custom validation tools.
- Design and execute automated and manual test cases for automotive software features.
- Support software integration testing, analyze logs, investigate defects, and document findings.
- Build and improve reusable automation frameworks and test workflows.
- Collaborate with development, systems engineering, and quality teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Prepare test plans, procedures, and execution reports.
- Support testing at customer sites or test facilities when required.

Candidate Backgrounds

We welcome candidates from either of the following backgrounds:

Automotive Test Analyst

- Experience in automotive software integration testing, verification, and validation.
- Hands-on Python scripting and test automation experience.
- Experience with vTestStudio, Bash, CAPL, and test framework development.

Python Developer – Manufacturing

- Hands-on Python development experience.




- Professional experience in manufacturing environments or manufacturing technology projects.
- Experience applying Python to automation, data processing, troubleshooting, or software tools.
- Interest in applying development skills to automotive software testing and validation.

General Qualifications

- The original role targets professionals with 5–9 years of experience. Relevant hands-on experience will be reviewed against the applicable candidate background.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical findings in written and spoken English.
- Availability to work onsite in Polanco, Mexico City, during the day shift.
- Availability to travel to customer sites or test facilities when required.

Additional Relevant Skills

For Python developers coming from manufacturing, experience with automotive verification and validation, vTestStudio, CAPL, Bash, or test automation frameworks is valuable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $53,000.00 - $62,800.00 per month
