Employment Type : Direct Hire Schedule : 1st Shift - Monday - Friday OT as needed About the Role : deploying technical quality assurance tools, methods and appropriate work content. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Ensures processes and items are in compliance with applicable quality assurance and industry standards, company, customer, supplier, government and regular requirements (ISO, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) Manages the design and installation of testing equipment, and product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimize defects and failure rates. Reviews various Quality Engineering and other related analyses, data and reports and provides appropriate support where necessary; recommends corrective action or improvement plans when necessary. Interfaces with and coordinates activities or internal cross-functional teams, customers, suppliers, third part certifying bodies and other external stakeholders appropriate. Provides guidance for quality systems, quality tools, technical support,



improvements and the provision of others quality expertise as appropriate, e.g., root cause analysis, sampling plans, Pareto analysis, statistical process control, etc.

Qualifications : Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business or technical support teams comprised of individual contributors. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion. May coordinate work activities with other supervisors. Directs routine and repetitive operations of team. Assignments are largely established in accordance with schedules and deliverables. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plans. Collaborates daily with direct reports and peers within similar functions primarily for the purpose of exchanging information. Decisions have a direct impact on team operations. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules and require the allocation of additional time, people and/or financial resources. Preferred : Typically 4+ years relevant work experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
