Skills And Competencies

• Strong analytical and financial skills, including the ability to interpret financial statements and quantitative and qualitative information
• Understanding of fundamental credit-analysis concepts and a demonstrated interest in financial institutions and capital markets
• Ability to identify material credit trends and develop clear, evidence-based conclusions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, including the preparation of financial analyses, forecasts, charts, and presentations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English, with the ability to explain complex analytical matters clearly and concisely
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines
• Intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach
• Commitment to analytical quality, independence, integrity, and confidentiality
• Experience with financial modeling, data analytics, visualization, automation, or AI-enabled productivity tools is preferred




• Progress toward a relevant professional qualification, such as CFA or FRM, is beneficial
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use

Education

• Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, or another relevant analytical discipline
• Relevant experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, banking, insurance, investments, risk management, audit, consulting, accounting, or a related field is preferred. Previous specialization in a Financial Institutions Group subsector is not required
