Role Description The Family Physician (Médico familiar) will provide patient-centered primary care services, including preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for individuals and families across different stages of life. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting medical consultations, reviewing patient histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing appropriate treatments, and coordinating referrals to specialists when necessary. The role also involves educating patients and families on disease prevention, healthy habits, and chronic condition management, while collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, high-quality care.





The physician will maintain accurate and timely medical records, adhere to clinical and ethical standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of care protocols and patient experience. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ciudad de Allende, NLE.

6 hours per day from monday to saturday

Qualifications

- Licensed Medical Doctor (M.D.) with completed Family Medicine residency or equivalent training, and valid professional certification in Mexico.
- Proven experience in primary care, including preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and acute care for diverse age groups.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building trust with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to ethical medical practice, patient safety, and confidentiality, with attention to detail in clinical documentation.
- Ability to work on-site in Ciudad de Allende, NLE, manage a stable full-time schedule, and adapt to organizational protocols and workflows.
- Basic proficiency in using electronic medical records and digital tools for scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
- Experience collaborating with biomedical engineers or familiarity with medical equipment use and safety is an advantage.
- Continuous learning mindset, openness to clinical guidelines updates, and participation in professional development activities.
- Experience in community health, preventive programs, or family counseling is a plus.
