Job DescriptionPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions: Develops strategic initiatives oriented to meet or exceed department goals .Responsible to ensure material availability base on production and demand forecasts able to determine and adjust parameter in MRP .Handles part and engineering changes, avoiding obsolescence and material gaps, as per ECR, MCR or similar .Anticipates customer’s needs .Able to handle Min Max and discrete purchase as well as VMI accounts .Solve in major situations related to procurement, material control and planning .Sets controls and limits in metrics to ensure and avoid going out of control .Analyze and control the materials according to their inventory classification .Evaluates material forecast vs presente deliveries .Takes leader's role when necessary.Perform other duties as assigned.Other Requirements:
