About the role
We’re looking for a seasoned Controller to own and lead a full books clean-up for a growing multi-location, multi-entity, clinic-based mental healthcare business in the US. Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll set the accounting methodology, make the judgment calls and deliver close-ready books with documented,



repeatable processes.

What you’ll do

• Lead the clean-up end to end: Define the plan, priorities and timeline, and act as the CFO’s go-to partner on accounting matters.

• Revenue cycle & ASC 606: Set the revenue recognition policy for contractual allowances, denials and patient responsibility, and own the reconciliation of billing and EHR data to the GL.

• AR clean-up: Design a supportable AR reserve methodology and lead the rebuild and reconciliation of AR by entity, location and payer, including unapplied cash.

• AP & accruals: Establish cutoff and month-end accrual policies and oversee the AP subledger clean-up and vendor reconciliations.

• Payroll: Define accrual methodology for payroll, benefits, bonuses and provider compensation, and ensure it reconciles to the GL.

• ASC 842 leases: Lead the lease inventory and build maintainable ROU asset and lease liability schedules.
