Weekend Customer Service Representative – Transportation & Logistics
A company in the freight transportation industry is seeking a Weekend Customer Service Representative to support weekend operations, maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure accurate shipment tracking, timely updates, and prompt resolution of service-related issues. This role works closely with internal teams to ensure efficient shipment management and high-quality customer service.
Location: Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico
Work Schedule: Four days per week
Monthly Gross Salary: $20,000 MXN
Additional Benefit: $1,000 MXN monthly grocery vouchers
Main Responsibilities
• Provide accurate and timely information to customers and internal teams to maintain high service standards.

• Accurately enter and manage orders in the AS400 system.

• Track and trace shipments using company-provided tools and systems, escalating issues to the Operations Manager when necessary.

• Schedule pickup and delivery appointments with customers in a timely manner.





• Collaborate with internal departments to identify and resolve operational issues.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipment information across company systems.

• Ensure all orders are properly closed for billing purposes.

• Update EDI 214 shipment status messages and customer portals, as applicable.

• Review and process customer updates regarding order cancellations, shipment locations, and status changes through EDI and customer websites.

• Document and manage service failures within 24 hours of occurrence.

• Handle customer calls according to established procedures, maintaining professional telephone etiquette.

• Ensure clear communication and proper follow-up on pending shipments, customer requests, and operational issues throughout the assigned shift.

• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Off
