About the Role
Valenta is seeking an experienced Finance Operations Associate – Marketing Finance to support the financial operations of a global Marketing function.
The adecuado candidate will have a strong background in Finance or Accounting, with hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reconciliations, accounting close processes, and financial reporting.
This role requires close collaboration with Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense (T&E;), and Marketing teams to ensure financial accuracy, effective budget management, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Support day-to-day financial operations for a global Marketing function.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and financial reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close processes.
• Review and validate accounting reports against approved budgets and forecasts.




• Monitor Marketing expenditure and support budget-versus-vigente analysis.
• Ensure expenses are accurately allocated to internal billing codes for P&L; reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Accounts Payable, T&E;, and Marketing stakeholders.
• Identify financial discrepancies and resolve reconciliation issues in a timely manner.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Support financial reporting activities in accordance with GAAP principles.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic background in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Finance Operations, Accounting, or a related financial role.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
