Role Description This is a remote internship role for an Accountant at Slate Brands. The Accountant intern will support day-to-day accounting operations, including recording journal entries, assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable, and helping reconcile bank and ledger accounts. The role involves preparing basic financial reports, supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities,



and maintaining accurate and organized financial records. The intern will collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with internal controls, assist with budget tracking, and help analyze spending and revenue trends across brands. The position offers exposure to accounting in a multi-brand, omnichannel beauty environment and opportunities to learn modern financial tools and processes.
Qualifications

• Foundational accounting skills, including knowledge of GAAP principles, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, QuickBooks or similar tools).
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, including attention to detail and accuracy in numerical work.
• Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks, deadlines, and competing priorities.
