The Senior Executive will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, monitoring payment performance and driven collections activities to ensure the timely recovery of outstanding receivables. Will maintain continuous communication with customers, build strong business relationships, resolve accounts discrepancies and make informed decisions to mitigate financial risks.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable Management
• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and ensure timely collections.
• Monitor aging reports and proactively address overdue balances.
Collections Strategy & Execution
• Design and execute effective collection strategies for delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment plans, settlements, and dispute resolutions.
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Billing, and Customer Service teams.
• Escalate and resolve complex or high-risk collection cases.
Risk Assessment & Credit Control
• Identify high-risk accounts and recommend corrective actions.
• Support credit reviews and enforce credit policies.
Reporting & Analysis
• Track and report collection performance metrics.
• Analyze trends to improve collection efficiency and reduce DSO.
Compliance & Process Improvement
• Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and company standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in collection processes and tools.
Customer Relationship Management
• Maintain professional communication with customers.
• Balance firm collections practices with positive client relationships.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
• Target: Reduce DSO and maintain it within company benchmarks.
Aging Portfolio Performance
• % of receivables in current, 30, 60, 90+ days buckets.
• Reduction in >90-day overdue accounts.
Collection Effectiveness Index (CEI)
• Measure of how effectively outstanding receivables are collected.
On-Time Collection Rate
• % of invoices collected within agreed payment terms.
