Senior .NET Developer – AWS Cloud Migration

Location: Mexico (100% Remote)

Working Hours: Must be available to work during U.S. Eastern Time (ET) business hours

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer with extensive experience in enterprise application development, legacy modernization, and hands-on migration of applications from On-Premises environments to AWS.

The adecuado candidate will combine strong C#/.NET engineering skills with deep AWS architecture, cloud modernization, and production migration expertise.

Required Technical Skills:

- 8+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years working with C#/.NET.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET 6/8+, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Framework.
- Experience developing REST APIs, Web APIs, Microservices, and distributed applications.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle, Entity Framework/EF Core, and database integration.
- Experience with IIS, Windows Services, and legacy application modernization.
- Proven hands-on participation in at least 2 end-to-end On-Premises to AWS migration projects, including migration execution, production cutover, and stabilization.

Mandatory AWS Expertise (Hands-on):

- Networking: VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups, NACLs, Route 53, Load Balancers,



and Hybrid Connectivity.
- Compute & Hosting: EC2, ECS/Fargate, EKS, Lambda, Auto Scaling, and API Gateway.
- Databases: RDS/Aurora and experience with DynamoDB, ElastiCache, OpenSearch, or managed messaging services.
- Security: IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager/Parameter Store, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and encryption.
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (preferred), CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild, or equivalent tools.
- Monitoring & Operations: CloudWatch, troubleshooting, high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.

Nice to Have:

- Migration from .NET Framework to .NET 6/8+.
- Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/Fargate, or EKS.
- AWS Lambda for .NET, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, or Step Functions.
- AWS DMS/SCT and SQL Server/Oracle migrations to RDS/Aurora.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Capital Markets.
- AWS certifications.

Important: We are seeking a hands-on developer with real AWS migration experience, not profiles focused exclusively on cloud infrastructure, architecture oversight, or project management.
