We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead – Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) to join a general digital commerce team and help drive quality across complex eCommerce platforms. This role is ideal for experienced QA professionals who are passionate about test automation, quality engineering, performance testing, and delivering exceptional customer experiences at scale. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing and executing quality strategies, building and maintaining automation frameworks, ensuring release readiness, and collaborating closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders.

Depending on your experience level, you may also provide technical leadership, mentor QA engineers, and contribute to defining testing best practices across the organization.

What You’ll Do

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript
- Create and execute functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and API test scenarios
- Perform manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and eCommerce applications
- Execute performance and load testing using JMeter and identify system bottlenecks
- Validate integrations, APIs, data flows, and third-party services within the SFCC ecosystem
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
- Participate in release planning, defect triage,



root cause analysis, and production readiness activities
- Maintain testing artifacts, test plans, and test cases using TestRail or similar test management tools
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and quality automation initiatives
- Monitor test coverage, quality metrics, and continuous improvement opportunities
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA team members when applicable
- Support quality strategy, testing standards, and best practices across multiple projects

What We’re Looking For

- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Test Automation
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks using Page Object Model (POM) design patterns
- Solid understanding of web application testing and modern QA methodologies
- Experience with API testing using REST services and related tools
- Hands-on experience with performance and load testing using JMeter
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and Agile development practices
- Experience investigating defects using browser developer tools and debugging techniques
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills




- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
- Knowledge of eCommerce, retail, loyalty, or customer engagement platforms
- Experience with SFCC Business Manager and related commerce workflows
- Previous experience leading QA initiatives, mentoring team members, or acting as a QA Lead
- Experience owning test strategies, release validation, and quality governance processes
- Exposure to cloud-based environments and modern DevOps practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
