AI/AIOps Engineer - GenAI, RAG, Agentic AI & Observability

Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco (Hybrid)

We are looking for an AI/AIOps Engineer to join a global technology organization and build AI systems that run in production: LLM and RAG solutions, AI agents, and AIOps tooling that detects anomalies, reduces alert noise and speeds up root-cause analysis for critical platforms. If you have taken ML/LLM systems beyond the demo stage and supported them with real users, this role is for you.

What you will do

- Design, build and support ML and LLM systems used by real users in production.
- Build GenAI solutions with RAG (chunking, hybrid search, re-ranking), embeddings, vector search, tool/function calling and structured outputs, including handling of incorrect or unsupported answers.
- Develop AI agents and multi-step automations with LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel or similar, with tools, guardrails, human approval and audit of actions.
- Define evaluation sets and metrics, measure accuracy and error rates, and improve systems based on the results.
- Implement AIOps capabilities: time-series anomaly detection and alert-noise reduction on metrics, logs and events.
- Build or contribute to RCA (root-cause analysis) and incident-analysis tooling.
- Troubleshoot live production incidents on Linux (CPU, memory, disk, network), Java (heap, GC, thread dumps) and Python services.

This role is for you if you have

- 3+ years of production AI/ML experience designing,



building and supporting ML or LLM systems used by real users (POCs, demos or coursework alone are not enough).
- Hands-on GenAI/LLM engineering: RAG, embeddings, vector search, function calling and structured outputs.
- Experience with agentic AI (LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel or similar).
- Experience building evaluation sets and metrics for AI systems.
- AIOps / anomaly detection on time series, metrics, logs or events.
- Python production code with tests (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow where relevant).
- Production troubleshooting on Linux, Java and Python.
- Observability: Splunk (SPL, dashboards, alerts) plus one of Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace or similar.
- Experience building or contributing significantly to RCA / AIOps / incident-analysis tooling.

Important: English requirement
