HRBP - Labor Relations

This role is 100% onsite for 3RD SHIFT - 10 PM TO 7 AM

The HRBP will be responsible for employee and labor relations, disciplinary processes, employee services, HR administration, and key workforce indicators such as turnover and absenteeism. The position requires strong knowledge of Mexican labor law and hands-on experience supporting employees in a manufacturing environment.

KEY RESPONSONSIBILITIES

• Partner with supervisors and managers on employee relations and day-to-day HR matters.

• Manage labor and union relations, maintaining effective communication with employees and union representatives.

• Support and execute disciplinary processes, including workplace investigations, corrective actions, documentation, and terminations.

• Provide guidance and support to employees regarding workplace concerns, policies, conflicts, and HR processes.

• Manage resignations and employee terminations, including exit interviews, documentation, and analysis of turnover causes.

• Monitor absenteeism and turnover indicators, identify trends and root causes, and develop action plans with business leaders.

• Support employee onboarding, employment documentation, contracts, personnel files, and HR administrative processes.

• Coordinate employee services such as transportation, cafeteria, and taxi services,



including vendor follow-up and operational requirements.

• Identify opportunities to improve employee engagement, communication, workplace climate, and overall employee experience.

• ensure compliance with company policies, internal procedures, and applicable Mexican labor legislation.

• Analyze and present HR metrics and provide recommendations to support business decisions.

• Participate in HR projects and initiatives aligned with plant and business priorities.

REQUIREMENTS

Advanced English Proficency

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources Generalist, HR Business Partner, or Labor Relations positions.

• Proven experience in labor and union relations, including direct interaction with union representatives.

• Strong knowledge of Mexican Labor Law.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related field.

• Experience managing disciplinary processes, workplace investigations, employee conflicts, and terminations.

• Experience providing direct support to employees and operational leadership.

• Experience tracking and analyzing HR indicators, particularly turnover and absenteeism.

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

• Experience working with HRIS systems.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
