Introduction
As a Software Engineer II, you will build and help operate the systems that power our consumer digital experiences across e-commerce, mobile applications, Order Management, Consumer Identity, and Loyalty platforms. You will work within a "you build it, you run it" engineering culture, partnering closely with product managers, designers, and senior engineers while gaining hands-on ownership of solutions in production. This role reports into the Digital & Commerce Platforms engineering organization and offers significant opportunity for growth through mentorship, AI-enabled development practices, and increasing technical ownership.

About the Job
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable features and services supporting digital commerce platforms, APIs,



and event-driven architectures that serve high-volume consumer experiences.
• Participate in production support and on-call rotations, helping investigate incidents, maintain runbooks, and contribute to post-incident reviews that improve system resilience.
• Leverage AI-powered engineering tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and documentation while validating all outputs for quality, security, and reliability.
• Build and maintain automated testing solutions and contribute to code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, feature flag strategies, and safe deployment practices.
• Instrument applications with monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities while collaborating across general teams to continuously improve platform performance and customer experience.
