As a DSP/Personal Attendant, you will provide individualized support to adults with developmental disabilities receiving Supported Living Services.
The primary focus of this role is the active supervision of individuals to ensure their health and safety, while providing occasional hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) for individuals with complex needs.
You will provide incidental behavioral prevention and intervention support,



operate with increased independence, and be responsible for maintaining service quality and helping ensure a stable living environment.
Your Impact in Action Provide consistent, person-centered supervision within the individual's home and community.
Supervise and provide occasional hands-on support for Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including: Bathing, toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene Preparing meals and feeding Light housekeeping and laundry Supervise medication administration when needed.
Accompany and/or transport the individual to medical and personal appointments.
Implement established Behavior Support Plans (BSP) to prevent and de-escalate outbursts or mental health symptoms.
Apply crisis prevention and intervention techniques (e.g., Safety-Care or CPI) during severe episodes to ensure immediate safety.
