Facility Manager
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Facility Manager manages, and coordinates activities of the facility crew and contracted trades/service suppliers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines and equipment.
This position is also responsible for maintenance of buildings and utility systems by performing duties personally, or through subordinates and contracted trades/service suppliers.
The Facility Manager selects, trains, coaches, counsels, and disciplines subordinates.
The incumbent represents engineering and validation projects and participates in continuous improvement projects in support of the Quality System.
The Facility Maintenance Manager is directly responsible for maintenance supply procurement.
The Facility Manager reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.
Job Roles required of the position:
- Manager: Maintains quality service by enforcing organization standards, and providing guidance to subordinates.




Actively supports the quality and business requirements of the EMS and Quality Systems.
- Maintain & Operate: Water System, HVAC/Chillers, Boiler/Steam/Env heat, DCS System, CCA System: Provides oversight to direct reports performing this job role and assumes accountability for the work performed.
Actively reviews reports and documents for compliance to requirements.
- Facility Maintenance:Provides oversight to direct reports performing this job role and assumes accountability for the work performed.
Actively review reports and documents for compliance to requirements and troubleshoots issues.
Provides hands-on training on various systems.
Ensures that all systems operate and run in a compliant manner with proper preventive maintenance schedule.
