At Hunter Industries , we are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. The idóneo candidate will have a strong background in general accounting, financial reconciliations, and financial reporting, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, international manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general accounting activities, including account analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and adjusting journal entries.

Assist with month-end closing activities, financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Prepare and reconcile intercompany transactions and foreign currency accounting activities.

Maintain and reconcile consignment inventory records, investigating and resolving discrepancies.

Process accounts receivable transactions, apply customer payments, and coordinate the resolution of payment discrepancies.

Prepare and maintain accruals, prepaid expenses, property tax accounts, and supporting financial schedules.

Prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation, and assist with annual audits.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and established accounting procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements





Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting.

Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal is a MUST

Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computerized spreadsheets.

Experience working with accounting software or ERP systems.

Knowledge of JD Edwards is preferred.

Experience with account reconciliations, financial analysis, and month-end closing activities.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
