We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Staff Product Engineer to join our Signal and Power Connectivity (S&PC;) area at our Hermosillo Automotive Plant. Customer Engagement and Relationship Management
Perform engineering analyses and risk assessments for product reliability
Determine and oversee product qualification testing for automotive industry standards
Support business office in potential new business quotes
Collaborate with Quality Engineering on customer issues through root cause analysis
Generate samples and conduct technical evaluations as needed
In collaboration with PM office, translate customer needs into potential derivative business.




Develop VAVE cost-savings ideas and implement or support viable projects to improve profitability
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
~Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
~ Extensive knowledge of automotive connectors, terminals, and cable assemblies requirements/testing (USCAR), materials, and processes
~ Proficiency in CREO, SolidWorks, or high-level 3D CAD software
~ Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;) and stack-up analysis
~ Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies or Red X methodology (preferred)
~ Experience working with quality, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams
US Visa required.
