Project HSSE Manager – Lázaro Cárdenas

As Project HSSE Manager, you will join the core team responsible for the Lázaro Cárdenas Extension project. You will lead the Health, Safety, Security and Environmental discipline, ensuring the upgrade of the existing facilities is executed safely, professionally and in compliance with local legislation, corporate standards and industry best practices.
Influence HSSE strategy throughout the lifecycle of a large-scale infrastructure project.
Strengthen contractor capabilities through training, coaching and continuous improvement.
Define the project's HSSE vision, strategy, goals and objectives, and implement the HSSE management plan in alignment with the APM Terminals framework and Mexican regulations.
Lead incident management processes, including transparent reporting, learning-focused reviews,



high-potential incident investigations and knowledge sharing.
Coordinate emergency preparedness and crisis communication protocols with terminal operations, contractors, suppliers and external authorities.
Embed HSSE requirements within contracts and procurement processes, monitor contractor compliance and ensure corrective actions are tracked and completed.
Coordinate interfaces and high-risk activities through planning and permit-to-work processes, maintaining an active presence during challenging operations.
At least 10 years of relevant professional experience managing and monitoring outsourced supply chains within the construction or asset delivery sector. Demonstrated accountability for the HSSE workstream on at least two large-scale and complex capital infrastructure projects, preferably in Mexico.
