About the role Owns the engineering-to-manufacturing change process: reviews incoming Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), assesses their impact on released product structures within the PLM system (Windchill), and converts approved changes into Manufacturing Changes (MCNs). Ensures bill‑of‑materials (BOM)



accuracy and traceability across all product variants before changes reach the production floor.
Key Responsibilities Read, interpret, and validate ECNs — identify affected parts, revisions and product variants. Maintain and query product structures/BOMs in the PLM system; perform "where‑used" analysis to scope full change impact. Compare product structures before/after a change (released vs. work‑in‑progress) to detect added, removed, or quantity‑changed components at any BOM level. Validate that detected differences match engineering intent, investigate and resolve discrepancies. Draft, issue, and track MCNs that document approved production‑floor changes (substitutions, quantities, find‑number/structure updates). Maintain full traceability: ECN → change evidence → MCN, for audit and quality records. Coordinate timing and cutover with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams.
