Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Process Engineer (Mechanical Assembly) located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Process Engineer Manager,
this role involves responsibilities for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to support a PCBA manufacturing organization.
What a typical day looks like:
- Develop mechanical assembly processes capable of ensuring stability, capacity, and continuous improvement
- Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
- Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
- Develop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies
- Hold up the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer.
Experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Strong Knowledge in NPI & Mass Production.
- Experience in mechanical assembly / electronics processes
