Job Description - Business Credit Office (BCO) Analyst | COO - HSBC Mexico
Own the end-to-end (E2E) credit process for Wholesale Banking customers, ensuring strong and timely execution that enables Relationship Managers (RMs) to structure credit solutions aligned to clients' needs (Corporate, Commercial Real Estate, Financial Institutions and Multinationals). The role supports healthy growth of the lending portfolio and delivery of the bank's financial objectives. It combines credit analysis, portfolio monitoring, documentation management and coordination with internal teams and clients.
Key responsibilities
1) E2E credit process management (origination and execution)
- Support RMs in preparing credit requests, analysis and structuring solutions (renewals, limits increases, new facilities, amendments).
- Ensure client information and the credit file are complete,



current and aligned with internal requirements to facilitate drawdowns and payments.
- Coordinate activities and deliverables with all involved areas to keep the process moving (credit, risk, operations, legal, etc.).

2) Portfolio monitoring and compliance (financial / non-financial covenants)
- Monitor compliance with financial and non-financial terms across facilities (covenants, conditions, documentation, relevant events).
- Identify negative trends in client performance or industry outlook and elevate promptly to the relevant stakeholders (RMs and/or credit/risk).
- Track remediation or mitigation actions when applicable, ensuring proper documentation and control.

3) Client engagement (customer facing)
- Engage with clients to follow up on required documentation and enable effective management of the assigned portfolio.
