Position Overview

We are seeking a Fixed Assets Accountant to join our global finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving capital expenditures (CAPEX) for accuracy and completeness in accordance with company policy and U.S. GAAP. You will manage the full-cycle fixed asset transactional work—including capitalization, asset transfers, and retirements—collaborating directly with plant managers and international project leads.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve capital expenditure (CAPEX) requests; ensure transactions meet capitalization thresholds and criteria.
- Execute day-to-day transactional activities including asset capitalization, internal transfers, disposals, and retirements.
- Prepare journal entries, maintain individual fixed asset roll-forward schedules, and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Partner directly with plant managers, project leads, and department heads to verify asset status and resolve discrepancies.
- Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet strict CAPEX tracking and period-end close deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis (manufacturing industry experience is a plus).
- English Level: B2 Upper-Intermediate to C1 Fluent (Mandatory) – comfortable in oral and written business communication.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and solid working knowledge of U.S. GAAP standards.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, proactive attitude, and excellent time management.

Sueldo: $14,000.00 - $21,000.00 al mes
