HR Manager – Mexico | Manufacturing

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager – Mexico to lead Human Resources across three manufacturing facilities in Guadalupe, Apodaca, and Monterrey, Nuevo León.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR leader with a strong background in automotive manufacturing, union relations, and multinational organizations . The successful candidate will lead a multi-site HR team, partner with plant leadership, and drive HR excellence, workforce stability, and organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, coach, and develop the HR team across three manufacturing facilities.
- Partner with plant leadership on workforce planning, talent management, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement.
- Manage union and labor relations, including collective bargaining agreements, negotiations, and dispute resolution.
- Ensure compliance with Mexican labor legislation and internal policies.
- Oversee HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and payroll coordination.
- Monitor workforce metrics, labor costs, absenteeism, and turnover.
- Standardize HR processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives across locations.
- Collaborate with global HR leadership and international stakeholders within a matrix organization.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of progressive HR experience,



including leadership responsibilities in manufacturing.
- Proven experience leading HR teams across multiple manufacturing sites in Mexico.
- Strong experience in union and labor relations, collective bargaining agreements, and negotiations. Experience working with CTM is preferred.
- Background in automotive manufacturing or a closely related industrial environment.
- Experience working in multinational companies with general matrix structures.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican labor law and HR compliance.
- Fluent English and Spanish, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
- Proven leadership, business partnering, problem-solving, and team development skills.
- Hands-on leadership style, strong ownership, accountability, and results orientation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Availability to travel between facilities and internationally as required.
