Rose Harper Law
Hermosillo
Rose Harper Law has grown from a founder-run practice into a distributed team of staff and contractors across the US and Latin America. The firm now needs one person to run its people systems, keep its operations on track, and protect the founding attorney's time. We're a small team that's growing fast, and this is a chance to get in early: help us build the firm, and grow your career with it over the long term.
We're looking for proactive doers who take ownership and will help push the organization to the next level.
About Rose Harper Law
Rose Harper Law is a plaintiff-side personal injury firm licensed in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey, with offices in Allentown PA, Hazleton PA, Parsippany NJ and Hawthorne NY. We represent injured people in English and Spanish on a contingency basis: no ganas, no pagas .
The firm is organized into five departments: Intake, Pre-Litigation, Settlement, Litigation, and Admin & Operations. We are faith-driven and growth-minded, and we build with written SOPs, clear KPIs and a named owner for every stage of a case. We are fast paced and require excellence from every team member. This is our standard.
About the role
You will split your week across three areas: HR, operations, and executive support to our founding attorney, Rose Harper. The balance shifts week to week. In a hiring push, HR leads; in a busy litigation month, Rose's calendar does. To be honest about the hard part: you'll often switch contexts several times a day, so you need to prioritize without waiting to be told.
Twelve months in, success looks like this:
- Every role has a written , a 30/60/90-day onboarding plan and a KPI scorecard. New hires complete onboarding paperwork before their first day.
- Core firm processes have written SOPs in ClickUp, and the team follows them.
- Contractor hours and output are checked every week against Time Doctor and ClickUp, and gaps are flagged to Rose in writing.
- Nothing waiting on Rose sits more than 48 hours without being flagged, including signatures, demand approvals and team questions.
- Rose gets a one-page weekly snapshot with department KPIs and open people issues.
What you'll do
Human Resources
- Run recruiting end to end: post roles, screen applicants against written criteria, schedule interviews and prepare offer paperwork.
- Own onboarding, including HIPAA confidentiality agreements, Time Doctor and NordVPN setup, communication protocols and first-week training.
- Maintain career ladders, job descriptions and KPI scorecards for all five departments.
- Schedule performance reviews and 90-day check-ins, and keep written records of performance conversations.
- Keep personnel files complete and confidential.
- Run Payroll
Operations
- Write and maintain SOPs and checklists for recurring firm processes.
- Manage reporting for KPIs: task structure, assignments, deadlines and weekly cleanup.
- Verify contractor time and output weekly using Time Doctor and ClickUp history.
- Coordinate office needs, vendors and software accounts across the four offices.
- Track department budgets and flag spending that runs over plan.
Executive Assistant to Rose Harper
- Own Rose's calendar, including court dates, client meetings,
team 1:1s, university teaching and media commitments.
- Triage her inbox daily, draft routine replies, and keep a live queue of items awaiting her review or signature.
- Prepare meeting briefs, capture action items in writing, and follow up until each one is done.
- Compile the weekly KPI and people snapshot.
- Coordinate scheduling for Rose's @AbogadaRose brand, podcast and speaking events.
