We are looking for an Interior Design Director to lead the creative vision and design development of high-impact interior design projects, transforming concepts into distinctive environments that reflect design excellence, functionality, and innovation.

Based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico , this is an opportunity for a creative leader who combines design expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership to elevate projects and inspire multidisciplinary teams.

What Will You Do?

- Lead the creative vision and conceptual development of interior design projects.
- Define design concepts, narratives, material palettes, finishes, lighting strategies, and spatial experiences.
- Guide projects from concept and schematic design through design development and technical documentation.
- Review and elevate design proposals, ensuring consistency, quality, functionality, and attention to detail.
- Lead and mentor interior design teams, collaborating with architecture, BIM, and project delivery professionals.
- Coordinate with consultants and other stakeholders to maintain design intent throughout project development.
- Balance creativity, technical feasibility, budget, sustainability, and client objectives.
- Contribute to the evolution of GVI's design standards and creative approach.

What Are We Looking For?

- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design,



Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
- Extensive experience leading interior design projects, preferably in hospitality, residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
- Proven experience leading creative teams and multidisciplinary collaborations.
- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, lighting, furniture, spatial planning, and interior detailing.
- Proficiency in relevant design and visualization tools, such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Availability to work 100% on-site in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico .

Portfolio Requirement A professional portfolio is mandatory for consideration. Your portfolio should demonstrate your creative vision, conceptual design capabilities, material and finish selection, spatial planning, design development, and experience leading or contributing to high-quality interior design projects.
