After-Hours Logistics Coordinator About the Role

We're looking for a reliable and organized After-Hours Logistics Coordinator to support transportation operations outside regular business hours.

This position is responsible for coordinating dispatch, monitoring active shipments, communicating with drivers and carriers, and resolving time-sensitive issues to ensure loads are picked up and delivered as scheduled. The ideal candidate can work independently, make sound decisions, and maintain accurate communication when the daytime team is unavailable.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate after-hours dispatch operations and manage load assignments.
- Track and trace active shipments, providing timely updates regarding load status, location, and estimated time of arrival.
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, and customers regarding shipment updates, delays, and delivery concerns.
- Respond to carrier fallouts, missed pickups, delivery issues, and other unexpected transportation challenges.
- Identify practical solutions to keep shipments moving and minimize service disruptions.
- Accurately document tracking updates, shipment details, and load information in FreightFlow or the applicable transportation management system.
- Obtain proof of delivery documents and other required transportation records.




- Provide operational support across customer accounts as needed.
- Maintain clear records of unresolved issues and communicate important updates to the daytime team to ensure a smooth handoff.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, dispatching, or produce transportation is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Comfortable using transportation management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate shipment information.
- Versátil availability to work outside regular business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30,000.00 per month
