For additional information, visit us at Job Description We are seeking for an Open Shift Platform Engineer in Mexico City or Guadalajara, Jalisco You will be responsible for building, operating, and optimizing Red Hat Open Shift environments that support enterprise‑grade containerized applications. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain Open Shift clusters across on‑premise or cloud environments. Implement and manage cluster upgrades, patches, and lifecycle operations . Develop automation using Ansible, Git Ops, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting (Bash, Python). Monitor and optimize cluster performance, resource utilization, and application workloads . Configure and manage Open Shift Operators, networking, storage, and ingress controllers . Ensure platform security, compliance, RBAC policies, and vulnerability remediation . Support development teams with application onboarding , troubleshooting, and best practices. Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to maintain platform reliability. Create and maintain technical documentation , runbooks, and operational procedures. Provide incident response ,



root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement recommendations. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience with Red Hat Open Shift (installation, configuration, operations). Solid understanding of Kubernetes , containers, and microservices architecture. Proficiency with Linux administration , shell scripting, and system troubleshooting. Experience with CI/CD pipelines , Git, and Dev Ops workflows. Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, routing, firewalls). Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk). Ability to manage complex technical environments and work across multiple teams. Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership‑driven mindset. Preferred Qualifications Red Hat certifications (e.g., EX280 , RHCSA , RHCE ). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) integrated with Open Shift. Knowledge of service mesh (Istio), API gateways , or advanced networking . Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible). Background in SRE , platform engineering, or enterprise Dev Ops environments.
