We are looking for a passionate, dynamic Junior Closures Engineer to join our fast-paced Engineering team. Whether you are a fresh graduate with hands-on university team experience (Formula SAE, Baja) or an early-career engineer looking to level up, this role gives you real ownership over vehicle doors, hoods, tailgates, latches, and sealing systems for next-generation mobility.

⚡ What You’ll Do
• Design & Innovate: Create and refine CAD models for vehicle closures (doors, hood, tailgate, hinges, latches, weatherstripping, and actuators).
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Body-in-White (BiW), Exterior Trim,



Sealing, and Manufacturing teams to resolve fit-and-finish and clearance challenges.
• Simulate & Analyze: Perform basic structural, kinematic, and clearance investigations (GD&T;, tolerance stacks) to ensure zero interference during operation.
• Prototype & Validate: Participate in physical vehicle testing, reviewing prototypes, analyzing root causes for sealing or latching issues, and pushing for rapid design iterations.
• Drive Quality: Leverage Problem-Solving methodologies (8D, 5-Why) to fix real-world assembly and durability challenges.

? What We Are Looking For
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, Materials Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience: 0 to 3 years of experience in automotive design, mechanical design internships, or engineering student competitions (Formula SAE, Baja, Hyperloop, etc.).
• CAD Fundamentals: Hands-on exposure to 3D CAD
